Every day, as I am walking in this world, I am seeing people. They are all colors and have different things. Some have homes, some do not. Some are educated, some cannot read. But it doesn’t matter how they live. They are all in need of one thing: payment for their sins.
Some are trying to pay for themselves. They think they can even out the bad with good deeds. But it does not work that way. We are all too far from holiness.
There are many things that we need to learn about our Lord and savior and how he is forgiving, and loving to all people.
When you look in the mirror you see that you are dirty, but you don’t use the mirror to wash your face. You use water.
We must all be washed of our sin. We see our sins. But we cannot even wash ourselves. God washed us. He washed us with His own blood.
He died on the cross to pay our penalty for sin.
Only in Christ can we truly be free.
But what about when Christians hurt you? What about when someone who you love and trust stabs you in the back? Love them too. That’s what we did to Christ. While we were His enemies, He saved us.
We’ve got to learn to forgive. We’ve got to learn to love. Without Christ, we will never learn to live.
